Job description

Purpose/ Mission

This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the Country Retail Portfolio by managing depreciation line (CAPEX) & ongoing investments. The scope of work includes delivering Retail, Franchise, and Wholesale Store Development (SD) projects across the market – ensuring all projects within the market are delivered on time and to budget, and with that store standards are maintained throughout the store lifecycle.

This position also supports the Country DTC Director on implementing concept to consumer tools using the agreed policy and procedures of global and local guidelines.

Accountabilities

  • Manage multiple Retail, Franchise, and Wholesale New Store opening projects within market using concepts toolkits, and collaborating with EM/SEA store development processes, to deliver on time and to budget.
  • Manage and support the Service providers to define & set SLAs (Service Level Agreements) with all related services to ensure stores are always presented to a high standard and all H&S (Health & Safety) protocols are met.
  • Work with procurement and the agreed finance policies and process (Tender) to ensure all purchases and appointments are done in line with agreed market protocols.
  • Work closely with the EM Store Development team, SEA Marketplace lead, Country DTC Director as a support to create Capex (New & Existing Store fleet) and schedules in relation to the BPM process for new projects.
  • Coordinate projects with the back-office teams within Merchandising, VM, Retail Operations (Senior Operations, District Managers, Store Managers), IT, Marketing, Finance, Profit Protection, HR and Supply Chain to ensure projects are delivered to the highest possible performance standards.
  • Report quality issues in real time using provided standardized processes & documents.
  • Manage and sign off all installations per market, providing documentation with required detail.
  • Provide Market forecast of fixtures and fittings.
  • Identify and produce efficiencies in store development work, be it fiscal, time or resources.

Industry Exposure: Preferably in apparel/ fashion/ sports/ FW or FMCG Retail

Education

  • University Degree/Diploma in Civil/Architectural Engineering
  • 8 Years+ overall work experience in Retail projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD++
  • Excellent command in oral and written English
