Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and improving our company's training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance in the Company.

Job Description:

  1. Oversee the Corporate Learning Portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders on course nomination and registration, prioritizing staff for oversubscribed trainings as required and ensuring sufficient runs.
  3. Identify and address training needs and gaps in the organization through comprehensive learning needs analysis and curate the Corporate Learning Roadmap annually based on identified competency gaps and emerging learning trends, involving internal stakeholders where needed.
  4. Collaborate with external vendors to design and develop training programs that align with the company's goals and objectives, and up-to-date based on latest industry and regulatory developments.
  5. Manage all aspects of vendor relations, including RFQs, contract negotiation, payment management, and course registration, and to be cognizant of available fundings to tap on wherever applicable.
  6. Gather data and feedback to help enhance training effectiveness and participant engagement.
  7. Maintain a comprehensive overview of staff training status, tracking completed trainings and managing records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  8. Assist in reporting training statistics as required.
  9. Manage the training bond process and administration.
  10. Review invoices for all training programs and training systems access, ensuring costs are within the budget.
  11. Regularly review and update all learning and development processes and systems, ensuring they remain effective, efficient, and user-friendly.
  12. Any other duty as assigned by his/her reporting officer.

Job Requirements:

  1. Good degree in any discipline
  2. Min. 3 years of relevant HR experience
  3. Strong knowledge of employment legislation in Singapore
  4. Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and influencing skills is critical for this role
  5. Relevant experience in Learning and Development
