Key responsibilities:
- IT asset management (include the hardware and software) – manage all company IT asset with proper traceability record;
- Support HR on all employee on-board/off-board process including IT training;
- Provide all IT system setup and admin work (file control, VPN setup and special software admin work support);
- IT Level 1 helpdesk support to all company staff including remote users from worldwide; this could include PC issues, office printers, phone systems, or network-related issues;
- Troubleshoot AD/DC, Exchange server, File Server, and Application server issues and provide solutions;
- Troubleshoot and configure the firewall, router, and switch when issues arise;
- Escalate to 3rd party IT support vendor if issues cannot be fixed within the same day; coordinate with IT support vendor to resolve issues within TAT and document all IT issues and solutions;
- Liaise with IT vendor management, including IT hardware/software quotations, costing, Purchase Request process, and make proposals for any recommended system tools.
- All system backups (File server backup, NAS storage backup, offline backup activity); verify all system backup files are working properly;
- Coordinate with department heads on storage cleanup, including File server, SharePoint, and NetApp;
- Monitor server room temperature and humidity, ensuring all server-related equipment (e.g., UPS) are functioning properly;
- Pulse check all server, router, and firewall logs and flag any abnormal activities immediately;
- Regularly update antivirus tools and Windows system patches.
- Maintain all IT-related records (contracts, agreements, software authorizations, etc.) and regularly update or renew them on time;
- Keep updating and release new IT Policies & Procedures (P&P), Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP);
- Work with finance and country IT support on IT budgeting yearly and review it quarterly;
- Assist external or internal auditors on IT compliance or ISO-related audits;
- Evaluate vendor proposals and provide justifications to management.
- Develop IT project plans, budgeting, and proposals;
- Deploy IT projects after approval;
- Verify IT projects and provide necessary training to end users;
- Ensure IT project sign-off and documentation.
