This is a Permanent role.

We're looking for an Active Directory Specialist to be part of our Global Active Directory Team. This team works on the improvement and implementation of Active Directory management processes, ensuring stable operation and protecting our Active Directory from cyber attacks.

Senior Active Directory Administration is part of our global Active Directory (AD) service delivery to our organization, helping us to secure our internal and cloud environments. This includes the execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), incident, change, and problem management on the related processes, as well as procedures and work instructions.

During the course of work, the incumbent will support the operational topics of Active Directory in the region and globally. This also includes participation in on-call operations with counterparts in EMEA and NAFTA to provide holistic support towards Active Directory incident activities affecting our global company assets, as well as working closely with our Level one and two, Platform IAM lead, application, and site owner teams to monitor our global threat landscape. Please note that this role involves working on standby based on a roster.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide enterprise-level Active Directory service for global initiatives following through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams.
• Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for the corporate Identity Management environment.
• Serve as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, providing guidance and direction in the resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
• Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines.
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
• Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
• Manage customer satisfaction through effective communication and management of customer expectations.
• Provide training as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited school) or equivalent with an emphasis in computer/information science or information technology.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) including AD-based DNS.
• Comprehensive experience with enterprise multi-forest infrastructure models.
• Extensive knowledge of client/server operating systems (Linux, UNIX, and Windows), backend infrastructure services and networking, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), certificates, and their impact on Active Directory.
• Experience in Microsoft SCOM, SCCM, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Quest backup systems.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, and authorization in particular.
• Able to work in project teams, under pressure, facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Excellent communicator, able to engage and effectively respond to diverse stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of Azure AD/IAM processes as part of the Microsoft cloud.
• Willingness to participate in on-call/shift work.
