Assistant Manager, Quality Group – Japanese Speaking

Our client, the well-known Japanese A-1 construction company's APAC RHQ is looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Quality Group, Assistant Manager - Japanese Speaking.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, we expect you to lead the document/document management and the administration of the various secretariats, staff meetings, and committee meetings as a member of the Quality Group.

1. Management of PICs in each Asian country for the secretariat, meetings, and committees related to quality control.
   → Coordination of dates and times with PICs (Japanese and local staff) in each country.
2. Confirmation of the corrections/instructions given by the superior to PICs in each country at the technical review meeting have been correctly reflected.
3. Compilation and management of all quality control related documents (including those existing at the head office in Japan and in other Asian countries).
4. Planning and management of education/training opportunities for local staff in Asian countries.
   ※ There will be business trips to overseas branches few times in Year (Max: 4D3N).

Report Line: Senior Manager of Technical and Engineering, Quality Group (Japanese Native).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Japanese: Business Proficiency (In order to communicate with Japanese GM of Production Div. or People from Japan HO).
2. English: Business Proficiency (In order to communicate within the team and local staffs).
3. 5-10 years of construction site experience (either in the building, M&E, or design department).
4. Experience working for a Japanese construction company.
5. Able to use Microsoft Office.

Better to Have:

1. Experience working (Site management) mainly in Southeast Asia.
2. Experience in quality control in the construction industry.
3. Experience in QMS-based construction management operations.
4. Those who are not afraid to speak out their idea.
5. Those who enjoy catching words with others.
6. Experience in construction management/quality control as well as design supervision.

Working days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 0830 - 1730
Salary Range: Up to 8,000SGD (Base on Experience) + VB (Depend on performance, 2024 Result: 2-4 months)
