Establish project team, project name, number and document files
Work with main building contractor’s master schedule programmed
Check and review system design and specification for best compliance and performance
Appoint sub-contractors for different trades and establish their scope of work and liabilities
Manage and set up the allocated site office and storage
Submit shop drawings, equipment delivery schedule, materials samples to main contractor for approval by the respective consultants
Plan and monitor equipment delivery to job-site
Participate in job-site meetings, eg. Technical and nominated sub-contract (NSC) co-ordination meetings
Ensure job-site safety standards are in compliance with the relevant regulatory authorities, eg. Factory Act and BOWEC (Building Operations and Works of Engineering Construction)
Monitor, assess and evaluate the performance of sub-contractors for future job reference
Submit monthly progressive claim to main contractor for certification by consultants for payment
Prepare monthly financial status for Accounts Department and sub-contractors claim and payment process
Check and supervise project final testing and commissioning
Prepare and submit as-built drawings, hand-over kit together with operational, maintenance manual and thermostat controller
Prepare and establish maintenance service programme during the Defects Liabilities period
Prepare overall project report
Work with heads of department to prepare budget and forecasts and complete the annual budget on time.
Prepare financial and statistical reports
Perform any other duties assigned by superior
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Experience in project handling, preferably dealing with air-conditioning, chiller or HVAC systems is an advantage
