Job description

Key Accountabilities

• Grow MCST painting segment by seeking out key MCST painting contractors for their support of our Dulux Brand.
• Monitor all tenders and results and follow up closely with awarded contractors.
• Grow and maintain excellent relationships with key customers.
• Execute a competitive pricing structure within the set parameters to close sales deals while achieving a reasonable ASP.
• Work closely with all managing agents to promote our products like Dulux WS Express.
• Prepare technical documentation and quotations for project sales.
• Manage project pipeline and forecasting of materials.
• Keep abreast of industry affairs, e.g., new property developments, to anticipate project lead opportunities and convert them into sales prospects to quote.
• Collate product development and competitors’ activities in the market and provide feedback to the Head of Sales.
• Update and share market trends and growth information within the team.
• Monitor customers’ account status and ensure debt collection within the stipulated time frame.
• Assess and propose customers’ credit limits for approval by understanding their project pipelines.
• Attend and coordinate site complaint visits with the Technical Department and customers.
• Provide painting system solutions to customers.
• Forecast the amount of paint needed for projects through regular site visits and submit the forecast in the monthly production S&OP to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain contact with existing customers through good relationship building and marketing support, e.g., providing colour cards, colour scheme support, preparing method statements, collecting tender documents, and involving more applicators in the tendering process fairly and equally.
• Be an enthusiastic and motivated part of the sales team.
• Internalize the AkzoNobel purpose and act with strict compliance to AkzoNobel values, HSES, and Code of Conduct.

Experience

• Diploma, A Level or above.
• Ideally 2 years or more in a sales role.
• Preferably with experience in MNC.
• Paint coating industry experience will be an advantage.
• Proficient in English.
• Possess Class 3 driving license with own transport.
