Reporting to the Vice President, Kids and Family and MTV Entertainment Brands, Asia, you would play a pivotal part in the brand teams. You will work with creative team leads to prepare, monitor, and manage promotional, creative, and post-production budgets and processes for both Nickelodeon and MTV Entertainment brands. As a production management lead, you are also required to oversee the production process and coordinate all activities to ensure that we are maximizing resources to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Work closely with marketing, content creators, writers, talents, designers and other team members to ensure that deadlines, budgets and objectives are met.
- Assess project resource requirements and recommend solutions to take for the project.
- Estimate, negotiate (best value for money), and agree to budgets and timelines with internal and external partners, while maintaining quality and technical standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline production/workflow processes to improve overall efficiency.
- Prepare project budgets and ensure all stakeholders are updated on the cost status during production.
- Effectively lead the on-the-ground management of productions and minimize the risk of budget overspends.
- Oversee the smooth running of projects where a level of project management may be required (e.g., scouting for locations and making necessary arrangements for production to begin).
- Work with creative leads to manage creative spending, report submission for review by brand and finance.
- Develop a strong relationship with internal stakeholders, freelancers, post-production vendors, and management to implement high-quality content, and seek advice and input from all stakeholders.
- Prepare a monthly, quarterly, and annual review of brand creative/production budgets.
- Organize relevant training sessions where required, especially with the various production/finance processes.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations and clearances are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mass communication, media studies, or other related fields like arts management.
- A significant administrative experience working in a fast-paced production and media environment.
- Extensive experience with all aspects of short-form content and creative services production, including studios and location, live and to-tape, single and multi-camera, outside broadcast, and all aspects of program post-production, including editing, graphics, shooting, and crews.
- Excellent organizational skills to administer the production process.
- Good accounting and budgeting skills to keep track of the production budget.
- Sound understanding and experience with the media landscape across platforms, content marketing, branded solutions.
- A keen eye for talent-platform-content synergies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic and global environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills which will enable you to interact with a wide range of personalities and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized, collaborative self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
