About The Role

As an Assistant Manager, Procure-To-Pay Procurement in ALPS, you will be based at a hospital, assist the site lead, supervise a team and work closely with hospital users and ALPS vendors to support the hospital’s daily operations for patient care. The incumbent will be based in one of the Public Health Institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Spearhead the digital transformation of procurement processes and systems, leveraging automation and data-driven insights to optimize efficiency and effectiveness to optimally support the business objectives.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement framework and governance structure that aligns with the organization’s strategy, ensuring procurement compliance.
  3. Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Be a Subject Matter Expert at Procure-To-Pay, Sourcing-To-Contract or Supplier Enablement tools and processes including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and digital procurement tools.
  5. Be the Business Lead in terms of any new projects and system enhancements while liaising with key vendors on pre and post implementation reviews.
  6. Stay aligned with up-to-date procurement regulations and market trends, with the key objective of making effective alternate sourcing workflows where required.
  7. Ensure visibility into supply chain risks while cultivating strategic alliances with key suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms to enhance financial performance.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Procurement or Strategic Sourcing role with a good understanding of the implementation of ERP system (SAP Ariba/S4HANA).
  2. Proven track record in acquiring a solution-oriented mindset to manage complex negotiations and contracts management.
  3. Experience in process improvement, policy drafting, and driving cost-saving projects.
  4. Ability to lead and motivate team members.
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  6. Proficient in SAP MM/Ariba will be an added advantage.
