Assistant Manager/Operation Manager

At both large and small organizations, operations managers hire, train employees, manage quality assurance programs, strategize process improvements, and more. Operations managers are ultimately responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of a business, agency, or organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage overall operations for relocation service.
2. Supervise movers as per job requirements for relocation services.
3. Conduct operation/manpower planning based on job requirements.
4. On-site survey for relocation/storage services.
5. Handle incoming calls and attend to email enquiries to manage customer expectations.
6. Establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
7. Maintenance of daily operational matters/equipment/vehicles.
8. Liaise with customers on job requirements and arrange/coordinate scheduling to meet customers’ requests as well as operational requirements.
9. Maintain discipline on matters such as punctuality, standards, and attitude.
10. Have good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office/Google Sheets) and communication skills.
11. Coordinate with warehouse team on storage as well as stuffing and unstuffing of goods.
12. Review and ensure all invoices are duly submitted for finance’s processing.
13. In case of emergency, take up the role of driver for relocation service.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in the moving sector and warehouse management.
2. A team player with good communication skills, honesty, and the RIGHT working attitude.
3. Mature, responsible, independent, and meticulous.
4. Possess a positive drive, eagerness to learn, and willingness to adapt to changes.
5. Able to handle pressure and perform under tight deadlines.
6. Willing to work overtime when situations arise.
7. Possess at least a Class 3 License.
8. All races welcome.
9. Shift work.
