Job Title: Exhibition and Project Manager
Singapore Art Museum is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Exhibition and Project Manager. As a key member of our curatorial team, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of exhibitions and other projects.
We are committed to building one of the world's most important public collections of Southeast Asian contemporary art, with the aim of connecting the art and the artists to the public and future generations through exhibitions and programmes.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of planning and operations relating to the realisation of exhibitions and other projects, including the care of artwork collections.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal resourcing, working relationships, and fostering key networks.
We are looking for an individual with at least 3 years' technical experience or exhibition/artistic presentations, who is passionate about contemporary art and has excellent project management and organisational skills.
The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to work individually and in a team.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement all aspects of planning and operations relating to the realisation of exhibitions and other projects
- Organise and develop full project life cycle project plans for production management activities, including overseeing workflow, budget & costs management, timeline setting, project administration, and exhibition set up and maintenance
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
- Analyse and manage project risk, monitor progress, and take corrective measures
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of museum displays
- Manage physical facilities for exhibitions and projects, including gallery spaces, art handling areas, and exhibition stores
- Review and keep up with current trends and best practices that may have an impact on exhibition/project planning, logistics, and museum management issues
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal resourcing, working relationships, and fostering key networks
- Apply and enforce workplace safety measurements at worksites
Requirements:- At least 3 years' technical experience or exhibition/artistic presentations
- Interest in contemporary art or related fields
- Good project management and organisational skills
- Attention to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work individually and in a team
- In good physical health and ability to work at height
- Versatility and interest in various technologies relevant to artwork visual presentations
Estimated Salary: S$80,000 - S$100,000 per annum
