Assistant Manager/Manager - Operational Risk Management

Responsibilities :-

• Implement a comprehensive Operational Risk Management Framework to safeguard the Bank’s exposure to operational risk.
• Responsible for the implementation of RCSA, KRI and IMDC in accordance to Group policy.
• Direct bank-wide BCM implementation and develop suitable approach to ensure the bank is able to respond effectively and efficiently to unexpected disruptions and minimise impact to business.
• Provide oversight on operational risk issues relating to new products, outsourcing/third party risks, processes, people and systems.
• Enable management oversight through Operational Risk related reports.
• Contribute to the industry committee to improve the soundness of the banking industry as a whole.

Requirements :-

• Professional qualification in Finance, Business, Engineering and Risk Management
• At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in operational risk management, business continuity management or related role.
• Strong understanding of banking business (Retail, Corporate Banking) and operations.
• Thrive under the challenge of a changing, multi-faceted working environment with opportunities to value-add to the bank’s operations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required to develop engaging relationships with cross-functional units.
• Good presentation skills.
• Able to balance risk & controls without impeding business.
