If you have what it takes to build Singapore’s digital future with us, we are looking for a Assistant Manager / Manager for the role of Leadership and Young Talent Development!

What the role is:

Part of the Digital Industry and Talent Group in IMDA, the Human Capital Cluster (HCC) division seeks to strategise and develop talent attraction initiatives to help Singapore position itself to capture opportunities in the digital economy.

You will be part of HCC’s Talent Development division that manages programmes to identify and groom a pipeline of talent to drive the Digital Economy and be the next generation of leaders in the infocomm media (ICM) sector.

What you will be working on:

  • Programme management – plan, manage and run key entry-level leadership programmes under IMDA’s SG Digital Leadership Accelerator, such as the SG Digital Scholarship - a unique industry scholarship that develops the future generation of tech and media leaders for Singapore. End-to-end oversight of admissions and talent management process throughout the entire lifecycle of scholarship recipients. Track programme outcomes, budget, and timeline to ensure compliance with programme plans.
  • Stakeholder relationship management – manage key stakeholder relationships in the universe of scholarships and other entry-level talent programmes, including institutes of high learning, private sector employer partners, public agencies.
  • Digitalisation and process automation – Support ongoing process automation and implementation of digitally-enabled user experience across all entry-level talent programmes.
  • Community development and engagement – Plan and execute scholar engagement initiatives and events to develop a strong network of young ICM leaders.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree qualification with preferably 3-5 years of working experience in human resources, talent management or tertiary education.
  • Good understanding of the infocomm media industry and passion for working with aspiring young students/ICM professionals.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills to analyse situations and make sound judgements. Result-driven self-starter and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Comfortable working with different technology platforms.
  • Great attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication details to handle a wide range of stakeholders.
