Develop and coordinate fundraising events through determining organisational needs, as well as understanding the involvement and requirements of donors/sponsors participating in such events.
Communicate timely and clearly to the stakeholders of their roles, responsibilities and timeline of events.
Recommend/seek approval for procurement requests and follow through with vendors to obtain quotations and delivery of purchases.
Monitor vendors to implement project schedules effectively, meeting deadlines and budgets.
Coordinate and manage operational and administrative functions to ensure events are delivered timely and efficiently, including preparation of tokens of appreciation where necessary.
Collaborate with stakeholders on the event positioning/pitching for purposes of effective publicity and timely preparation/production of collaterals.
Conduct on-site inspections and project managing events.
Prepare end-of-event statement of accounts and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
Conduct post-event evaluation, documentation and debrief for continuous improvement purposes.
Develop and implement strategies for active stewardship of existing and potential donors.
Build relationships and maintain regular communication with various corporate groups and donors.
Conduct public education talks, exhibitions and presentations to groups of professionals, corporate and schools on the role of the Institution and various donation/sponsorship opportunities to support the cause or coordinate activities for fundraising events.
Prepare and submit regular fundraising performance reports and statistics to Senior/Manager Fundraising and Head Communications & Community Engagement.
Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent from a recognised institution.
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, events or donor engagement.
Preferably to have experience in event organising/management.
Experience in fundraising in the social service industry is an advantage.
Bilingual and ability to communicate in local dialects preferably.
