Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Academic and Student Support at the MBA Programmes Office, the staff will evaluate the learning experience and course offerings from a student-centric approach, work with the academic departments, internal and external departments, and support students in their MBA journey to encapsulate an excellent learning experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Curriculum Planning, Management and Administration
- Determine course and class requirements for each Academic Year
- Provide projections of courses and teaching needs
- Evaluate course offerings with the Reporting Manager and Academic Directors
- Work with academic departments to keep course offerings relevant
- Plan, coordinate and manage course scheduling and teaching resources
- Coordinate with internal departments on the scheduling of classes on the school's system
- Coordinate and manage room requirements and resources
- Update and manage contents on the students' portal
- Publish, communicate and guide students on course-related matters
- Management of course enrolment and class size efficiency and optimization
- Monitor course evaluation and work with faculty on improving outcome
Student Services
- Provide service and support for students' learning needs
- Provide programme / study advice and recommendations
- Manage the curricular needs of the students
- Manage students' candidatures
- Provide support to international students' visa application needs
- Manage students' requests and feedback
- Provide service and support to exchange students from partner universities
- Initiate ideas to continuously improve students' learning experience
- Achieve a high satisfaction rate of students' programme experience
Others
- Coordination and organising of students' onboarding and orientation
- Partake in organising or supporting programme initiatives and events as assigned
- Manage students' fees and payment matters
- Involvement in process innovation and automation of the team
- Provide support for accreditations and reviews
- Support school and programme events, which may include weekend or public holidays occasionally
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University
- At least 2 - 5 years of work experience
- Able to work independently, is pro-active, task-oriented, yet service-minded
- A fast learner, analytical, willing to learn, meticulous with good problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- A team-player, with willingness to support inter-team/office activities
- Ability to develop good rapport with students, instructors, and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
(Appointment job grade will commensurate with the selected candidate's experience)
