Job description

As a Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with physicians within our healthcare network, driving company growth, and facilitating positive integration of new physicians. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our specialist clinics, oversee clinics day-to-day operations, and ensure operational excellence while delivering exceptional patient care.

Operational Management

  • Overseeing the planning and control of assigned specialist clinics.
  • Establish, monitor and analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Ensure that all services are billed, and that claims are made accurately and timely. Additionally, you are required to monitor outstanding bills, work with various parties to recover the outstanding amounts as well as handle billing and payment inquiries. You are responsible to prepare summaries, reports and statistics as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that assigned specialist clinics are efficient, effective and deliver the best possible stakeholder experience.
  • Compile, analyze, and report on financial and critical performance metrics.

Business Development

  • Create new services, programs, and bundles in collaboration with management and specialists.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Manage projects aligned with business development.
  • Leading and motivating project teams to achieve project goals.

Relationship Management

  • Build trusting connections with physicians and internal stakeholders and act as a trusted counsel and liaison.
  • Proactively address physician issues, ensuring speedy resolution and promoting a healthy workplace culture.
  • Implement feedback systems to continually improve physicians and patients' experiences.
  • Participate in the formulation of strategic strategies to increase internal stakeholders’ engagement and retention.
  • Foster a good and collaborative work atmosphere for all employees.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development among doctors through regular meetings and forums.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep physicians informed about organizational developments, policies, and activities.
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to incorporate physician feedback into decision-making and quality improvement programs.
  • Continuously improve internal work processes in order to increase patient happiness and streamline operations.
  • Oversee employee performance management, including direction, motivation, development, and counseling as needed.

Onboarding

  • Execute and improve onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new physicians into our network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help establish clinic practices for new physicians.
  • Provide continuing support to ensure that physicians are effectively incorporated into our organization and aligned with our purpose and values.

Other Duties

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our service offerings and grow the business in Asia Pacific.
  • Additional responsibilities as allocated by the management.
  • Occasional overseas travel required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years in healthcare operations, clinic management, or similar roles, preferably with physician collaboration.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows, billing, and financial analysis; proficient in tracking performance metrics and developing improvement strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and staff. Skilled at resolving issues quickly and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Experience in market analysis, new service development, and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to implement effective strategies and foster knowledge sharing.
  • Experience in onboarding new physicians, supporting integration, and aligning with company values.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset; occasional travel within Asia Pacific required.
