Assistant Manager (Maintenance Engineering/ Aviation Fuel)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper running of facilities, machinery and equipment while keeping to the highest safety standards
• Provide technical support and advice on systems and equipment
• Participate in the investigation of safety breaches and incidents
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on tender related activities
• Handle risk assessment and management
• Provide operational support for projects and events
• Manage and oversee budget
• Review processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvements
• Keep updated on the latest technology trends
• Analyse and evaluate solutions to improve processes, operations and equipment efficiency
• Ensure proper policies and procedures are in place
• Ensure proper documentation
• Ensure the highest safety standards are maintained
• Guide and mentor team members
• Ensure team members are up to date on their learning and development roadmap

Requirements:

• Possess strong experience in similar capacity with experience on mechanical circuits and systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and various controls.
• Background handled Aviation Fuel systems and related machinery and equipment is required
• Resourceful individual with abilities to drive buy-in and changes
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess good leadership skills
• Possess Class 3 licence
• Min. Degree in Engineering or equivalent
