Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the manager on the day-to-day operations of the general ledger team
  2. Review/preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities on a timely and accurate basis, perform intercompany reconciliation and regular review of accounts
  3. Review/preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules and quarterly reporting packages
  4. Analyse financial performances and monthly variances against comparable periods/budget
  5. Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  6. Liaise with internal business units and external auditors for the entities within the portfolio
  7. Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  8. Active participation in digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
  9. Any related ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  1. Degree or Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  3. Dedicated individual that possesses an analytical mind and is detail-oriented
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Experience in SAP is preferred
  6. Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant working experience with at least 1-2 years of management experience
  7. Team player who is able to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
