Assistant Manager, Finance (Central/ Growth Opportunity!/ Cap at $4.5k + VB)

Responsibilities:

1. Perform supplier payment (all currencies) via SWIFT/internet banking for 3 entities.
2. Perform booking of Fixed Assets register and monthly calculation of depreciation via GL system (SUN) for 3 entities.
3. Perform monthly expenses accrual entries in GL system.
4. Prepare recharge invoices to Daiwa related company for adhoc expenses as well as for corporate events held in Singapore.
5. Support team in all matters incidental to AP/AR.
6. Support other team members with bank reconciliation.
7. Setting-up counterparties in back-office system to enable the company to commence trading in a timely manner.
8. Ensuring all margin calls are received/paid by Daiwa in a timely manner.
9. Monitoring cash float in the account.
10. Prepare monthly reconciliation of client balances.
11. Prepare monthly supporting schedules for Regulatory Reporting to MAS (e.g. datafeed into RegPro system, upload of MAS 1003).
12. When required, support other experienced team members in the calculation of daily regulatory ratios.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in handling and processing accounts payable, fixed assets accounting, travel & entertainment claims, sundry billings.
2. Good accounting knowledge and Microsoft Excel skills.
3. Preferably familiar with SUN accounting system, preparation of internet banking and SWIFT instructions.
4. Other experience in financial or/and MAS regulatory reporting (partial or full) will be an added advantage.
5. Knowledge of GST rules as well as GST input/output tax accounting will be an added advantage.
