Assistant Manager - Compliance
Job description
- Develop, implement and review company’s compliance and risk management programs and policies.
- Ensure timely resolution of compliance and risk-related issues.
- Monitor, evaluate and ensure compliance to rules, regulations, SOPs, and policies.
- Guide various departments and business units in implementation and/or drafting of SOPs and policies.
- Conduct relevant research to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise Management on the implications of new laws and regulations and recommend necessary actions.
- Provide training and guidance on compliance and risk management best practices.
- Liaise with Corporate Secretary for corporate governance matters.
- Assist in all analysis and reporting required by the company and/or parent company.
- Improve the company’s internal control compliance management and legal risk control system design, establishment and maintenance work.
- Review and draft contracts as well as providing the relevant advice.
- Liaise with law firms for legal-related matters.
- General administration, reporting and filing tasks.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in business admin / legal and related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in company compliance and risk management
- Meticulous with ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Proactive, strives for continuous improvement
- Multi-task and excellent organization skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
