Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager, Commercial Accounting to join their team!

Our client is an accounting firm providing accounting, taxation, corporate secretary and other advisory services to clients.

What you'll be doing?

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client personnel, addressing queries and managing ad hoc requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior and senior accountants, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Financial Oversight: Review and maintain full sets of accounts, prepare custom reporting packages, and ensure compliance with SFRS/IFRS standards.
  • Strategic Analysis: Analyze sales variances, monitor KPIs, and provide valuable insights to support business decision-making.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll operations, including review and preparation of payroll calculations, disbursements, and year-end reporting.

Who are they looking for?

  • Accounting Expertise: Degree in Accountancy with professional qualifications (ACCA/CA/CPA) preferred.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting with 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in Professional Services.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, GST, and payroll requirements, plus proficiency in accounting software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in all work.
