Job description

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Plan and coordinate the daily operations of the Hospital’s Outpatient Services to ensure efficiency and effective use of resources
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize workflows, enhance patient care processes and service quality
  3. Prepare and review policies, procedures and work instructions for clinical processes to facilitate patient safety and quality care
  4. Utilise IT systems to analyze data, prepare presentations and reports
  5. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to implement new programmes/services
  6. Monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely completion
  7. Lead the team of Outpatient Service Associates (OPSAs) to attain service and operational excellence
  8. Work with internal and external stakeholders in the area of feedback management
  9. Perform any other responsibilities assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field
  2. At least 3 years of experience in managing outpatient service operations
  3. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data management
  4. Knowledge of clinical systems (SAP, EPIC and Clinic Assist) will be an advantage
  5. Possess good knowledge of healthcare financing schemes (e.g., Healthier SG, CHAS, Medisave and/or ILTC subsidies)
  6. Pleasant disposition, strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
  7. Strong planning, organization and coordination skills. Have experience in data analysis
  8. A team player who is meticulous, result-focused and manages pressure well
