Job Description

The incumbent will serve as a member of the Cardiovascular-Metabolic Disease Translational Research Programme under the leadership of Professor Roger Foo who is the Principal Investigator.

Project Administration

  • Involve in planning, executing, and closing projects with multiple stakeholders, including coordinating resources, managing a team, and ensuring that project goals are met on time and within resources.
  • Primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular updates.
  • Work with other project stakeholders and researchers to coordinate execution and reporting.

Research Governance

  • Manage overall day-to-day administrative activities for the Principal Investigator on ethical and agreement matters.

Project Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day activities as required for participant recruitment and follow-ups, as well as outreach and partnership activities.
  • Work closely with the Principal Investigator to support industry engagements and projects.
  • Promote and communicate research achievements, outcomes, and societal impact through presentations and social media engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's in any discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience working in/with the scientific research industry.
  • Active listening and good communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills.
  • Independent and a good team player.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong time-management and organization skills.
  • Good proficiency in MS Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel.
