Body & Paint Department
Job Responsibilities:
Drive monthly Body & Paint service revenue by identifying growth opportunities and negotiating competitive labor and parts rates.
Oversee claims and repairs to align with the Motor Claims Framework (MCF) and General Insurance Association (GIA) protocols, ensuring high-quality standards.
Investigate and respond to customer feedback, ensuring follow-up within 3 to 5 days post-service to verify work completion and satisfaction.
Plan workshop capacity, monitor open Repair Orders (ROs) and parts backorders, and maintain safety, tidiness, and cleanliness in the Body & Paint service area.
Motivate staff, coach individuals on performance improvement, and prepare incentives to boost morale and deliver outstanding service.
Track credit debtors, ensure timely payments, and prepare monthly reports on vehicle intake, performance, and department turnover.
Assist Service Advisors (CSAs) with customer queries, authorize goodwill requests within limits, and manage pick-up/delivery and courtesy car services as needed.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent studies.
Ability to deal with customers and knowledge in administering Insurance Claims.
Good knowledge about cars and its components, paint and bodywork equipment, warranty processing.
Experience in dealing/leading in body and paint shop will have added advantage.
