Assistant Manager (Bakery Shop)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the bakery outlet, including opening and closing procedures.
2. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
3. Train, mentor, and supervise new staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
4. Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
5. Oversee inventory levels and stock replenishment.
6. Supervise and guide the baking team, ensuring efficient production and consistent quality.
7. Recruit, conduct training, and onboarding for new employees.
8. Perform cashiering functions and manage opening/closing cash sales handling and financial transactions.
9. Track sales targets and performance monitoring.
10. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
11. Maintain workplace safety, health policies, and a clean and organized outlet environment.

Job Requirements:

1. SINGAPOREANS ONLY
2. Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a bakery or food service environment is preferred.
3. Knowledge of bakery operations and food safety is a plus.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
