Position Summary

As a Product Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the product planning and marketing initiatives, while growing the brand awareness for emerging products in Singapore. You should drive the business with excellence through qualitative 360 plan with other teams. You will also communicate with internal and external business partners to ensure that business objectives are met and aligned with Brand’s goals. This position reports directly to Product Director.

Job Description & Requirements

  1. Responsible for the execution of Air Solution category (Residential Air conditioner, Commercial Air conditioner, Air Purifier, Dehumidifier etc.) marketing activities in Singapore local market.
  2. Lead the execution of brand strategy and develop new initiatives to win market share and ranking.
  3. Ensure successful new product launches and review the pillars supported by effective 360 plans (PR, media, social media & digital, forecast, events and CRM, sell-out tracking and the product display in the points-of-sale).
  4. Conduct market trend analysis, monitor competitors’ activities and plan proactive actions.
  5. Ensure accuracy in forecasting of products and timely submission.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely phasing of Sale Programs and A&P management.
  7. Marketing support activities regarding whole Air solution product (APMS, Communication with Agency, Monthly marketing planning).
  8. Lead Pipeline management to enhance future visibility.
  9. Cultivate the product category passion both internally and externally.
  10. Ensure all ATL & BTL collaterals, POSM, samples meant for the launch are well-prepared and delivered accordingly for maximum launch impact.
  11. Implement events and promotions with qualitative executions to maximize commercial returns.
  12. Regular and timely update and exchange with the sales and corporate marketing team to ensure the upcoming activities and marketing initiatives are successful.
  13. Be physically present at all major promotions and events (closed door, pop-up events, workshops, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
  14. Ensure that all your media plans are in place in accordance to your launch plans.
  15. Follow-up closely with PR and Corporate Marketing team to ensure marketing and PR coverage for the products and launches are in place.
  16. Direct Marketing agency to ensure in-store concepts and activities are well prepared and executed.
  17. Develop store concepts with Visual Merchandising agency to ensure visual merchandising are executed according with brand guidelines.
  18. Plan and execute impactful promotions and events setup.
  19. Ensure all POSM are delivered in timely basis for the launches.
  20. Execute sales and marketing activities in consensus with HQ.
  21. Coordinate between local teams to implement solutions to enhance the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
  22. Any other Ad Hoc duties and reporting.

Education Level and/or relevant experience(s):

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Management / Marketing.
  2. Over 5 years of experience in product management/marketing/business.

Knowledge and skills:

  1. Rich in Product experience and knowledge.
  2. Good proven track of Sales & Marketing.
  3. Business planning, project management and execution skills.
  4. Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Other requirements:

  1. Fluency in English; Korean language skill to communicate with HQ.
  2. Ability to work independently and effectively in global and virtual teams.
  3. Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  5. A fast learner and a team player, who is able to travel overseas.
