Plan and allocate resources for daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and timeliness in distribution.
Assist in developing and refining warehousing policies and procedures to maintain proper internal controls and handling practices.
Oversee shelving and storage management to ensure proper organization and utilization of space.
Ensure inventory accuracy by monitoring daily warehouse activities, conducting cycle counts, stock takes, and verifying audit results.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing principles from Toyota’s Japanese production system, such as Kaizen and Genchi Genbutsu, to optimize warehouse workflows and processes.
Enforce safety procedures in warehouse operations, ensuring compliance among team members during daily tasks.
Exhibit strong leadership by motivating and organizing team members to achieve or exceed productivity targets.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports to Management and Headquarters (JHQ).
Participate in the recruitment, training, and professional development of warehouse personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
