Assistant Logistic Manager (Up $5k, West, Perm) Manufacturing

Perm position
Location: Toh Guan area
Salary: Up to $5000
Working hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm
Rotational weekend (once/twice a month): Saturday - 8am to 2pm (Paid allowance)

Duties

1. Plan and coordinate resources for daily inbound/outbound warehouse operations.
2. Contribute to the development and modification of warehousing policies and procedures.
3. Ensure shelving storage management.
4. Manage inventory accuracy.
5. Promote continuous improvement by adopting concepts such as Kaizen, Genchi Genbutsu, etc.
6. Implement and monitor safety procedures in warehouse operations.
7. Demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivating and organizing the team members to meet or exceed productivity targets.
8. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports to Management.
9. Involved in the hiring, training, and development of warehouse personnel.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other equivalent fields of study.
2. At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
3. Willing to do hands-on operations and customer service oriented.
4. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting purposes.
