Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful delivery of one large project or multiple small projects within a business domain or cross-functional projects. He/She ensures the project is well planned, on-track, resolves issues across different functions immediately and mitigates any potential risks early to avoid project failure. He/She leads cross-functional teams, works in collaboration and coordinates with business users, internal and external teams, and vendors to ensure project is successfully completed within budget & scope, on time and with quality. He/She provides regular progress updates to key stakeholders and management, and escalates issues for resolution in a timely manner. He/She also participates in annual work planning and manages the estimation of budget for new demands.

He/She possesses strong project management and people management skills. He/She is confident to lead the large project or multiple projects and drives cross-functional teams in a structured and methodological manner to meet the business objectives. He/She likes to pursue excellence and new knowledge, and actively impacts new knowledge and skills to others. He/She has good communication skills, is a competent negotiator, demonstrates resiliency, is good at problem-solving and able to engage & influence effectively both the internal and external stakeholders. He/She is adaptable to change in an agile and volatile environment while taking ownership and delivering work with integrity.

Role & Responsibilities

• Project Management to support the HealthCare clusters initiatives
• Managing requirements to ensure cost-effective solutions to meet the needs of users
• Review solutions proposed by Vendors to ensure optimal solutions
• Be prepared to challenge and propose alternative solutions that can meet the requirements better
• Support Procurement efforts to run the projects
• Follow up with multi-level approvals to move the projects to approved state
• Prepare presentations and present during forums for approval
• Oversee and participate in SIT and UAT to ensure quality delivery from vendor
• Guide junior project managers on Synapxe process and ensure they manage vendors to produce quality solutions and timely delivery
• Be fully responsible and accountable for timely push to production for programs and changes by ensuring all paperwork and approvals are obtained
• Responsible for timely project reporting, in SAP and in project templates
• Be willing to accept assignments outside the designated scope to achieve a high billable rate.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Finance or related discipline
• 10-13 years of relevant experience in managing finance projects from initiation till implementation, engaging business users or key stakeholders
• Good knowledge of one or more main processes in general especially SAP FICO, S4 Hana, and ABAP.
• Resourceful and ability to work within project timelines and budget
• SAP - FICO Certified, ECC or S4 Hana
• Good communication skills
