DESIGNATION: Assistant Infant Educator (Yung Ho)


RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assistant Infant Educator, you will be responsible for nurturing and educating children aged 0-3 years, creating safe and stimulating environments, and facilitating play & learning activities for our young heroes to develop and grow.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Integration Programme e.g. opening/ closing of the centre, ensuring centre is ready for operations, etc.
  • Ensure safety in the environment, for the well-being of infants and toddlers
  • Engage children in daily routine care e.g. feeding, diapering, showering, etc.
  • Ensure the upkeep of the environment, arrangement, resources
  • Ensure the overall safety and well-being of infants and interact with them in a nurturing and engaging manner at all times.
  • Work together with co-colleagues in implementing activities with infants
  • Ensure appropriate materials are available to facilitate infants

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Willing to go through ECDA's training to be an assistant infant educator
  • Takes initiative, possesses a strong sense of urgency and can prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Integrity in handling confidential information
  • Familiarity with administrative work in childcare centres would be preferred
  • IT savvy
