We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant/HR Manager responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s payroll processes, compensation structures, policy governance and HR systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, optimizing payroll operations, and providing strategic direction on compensation matters to support the company's objectives.


Job Description

  • Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions including Recruitment and Selection, Compensation and Benefits, HR Policies, Employee Relations and Employee Engagement Activities
  • Review and approve end-to-end recruitment activities including of selections, offers, and acceptance
  • Work closely with the Head of Departments to understand hiring requirements
  • Handle foreign workers' passes applications, renewals and cancellations through the MOM portal
  • Ensure the company employment practices are compliant with the local employment laws and the company policies
  • Formulate, implement, and review HR policies and procedures
  • Process resignations, terminations and disciplinary matters
  • Manage annual performance management appraisal exercise with the Management
  • Responsible for payroll-related duties for approximately 100 employees in all Restaurants and Office
  • Create programmes to foster teamwork and a positive work environment for all employees
  • Implement and manage HR related projects and ensure that HR projects are completed within the timeframe
  • Any other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field of study
  • Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in similar capacity
  • Well versed with labour laws and regulations, HR practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems diplomatically in a demanding environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
