Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Assistant HR Manager to support the full spectrum of HR operations and contribute to the strategic initiatives that drive business growth. As part of our HR team, you will assist in managing employee engagement, retention, performance and development, compensation and payroll, and HR policies. You will also work closely with HR leadership to deliver HR solutions that enhance people management capabilities across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive work environment.

You will be a key partner in driving HR initiatives that support business goals, enhance employee satisfaction, and ensure smooth day-to-day HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Manager in implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with business goals and foster employee development.
  • Assist in managing employee relations, engagement programs, and retention strategies to promote a positive work culture.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, providing guidance to managers to ensure consistent application across teams.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processing and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and legal compliance.
  • Provide support in talent acquisition, onboarding, and training programs to meet the growing needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with managers and leaders to enhance people management capabilities and address HR-related matters.
  • Conduct HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of programs and provide actionable insights.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR inquiries, resolving concerns and supporting employee welfare initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in an HR role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within retail or luxury sectors.
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR best practices, and compensation & benefits analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and an ability to engage teams.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to support managers and employees effectively.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the luxury, high-end retail, or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
