Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant HR Manager to join our HR team. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President (HR), this position will play a vital role in driving HR initiatives and implementing best practices to support the overall success of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Payroll & Attendance

  1. Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Monitor and maintain accurate attendance records, addressing discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.

Compensation & Benefits

  1. Develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  2. Stay abreast of market trends and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive and fair compensation structures.

HR Operations

  1. Streamline and optimize HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related operational challenges.

HR Information System

  1. Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  2. Provide training and support to employees and managers on HRIS usage.

Performance Management

  1. Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement and development.
  2. Provide guidance to managers on setting performance expectations and conducting performance reviews.

HR Reporting & Analysis

  1. Generate and analyse HR metrics and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Develop insightful reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Staff Engagement

  1. Plan and execute employee engagement events to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize team-building activities and recognition programs.

HR Projects

  1. Lead and contribute to various HR projects, such as policy development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and organizational change management.
  2. Ensure successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications is an added advantage (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on the specified responsibilities.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
