Assistant HR Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant HR Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the HR department in various functions, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining office supplies, coordinating office maintenance, and supporting general office operations.
• Accurate and timely processing of payroll for both office staff and ship crew, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive performance appraisal system to facilitate employee growth and development.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of HR policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and legal requirements.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding new hires. Conduct exit interviews and manage employee offboarding processes.
• Organize company events and initiatives to foster a positive and engaging work environment.
• Handle employee feedback, address concerns, and resolve workplace issues effectively and professionally.
• Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and implement workflow charts to optimize processes within departments and across the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Assistant HR Manager or in a similar HR role, preferably in the maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's employment laws and regulations.
• Proficient in payroll processing and HR systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
