Job description

Job Description

  1. Manage the full spectrum of operational HR functions including HR policy review, recruitment and retention, employee compensation and benefits management, staff engagement activities, employment contract matters, government related claims, government related surveys, work pass processes, and employee relations/welfare.
  2. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain staff, manage the full hiring process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, selection of candidates, and job offers.
  3. Resolve workplace conflicts, staff grievances, disciplinary issues, and terminations.
  4. Manage employee relations issues, address employee concerns, and provide guidance and support on HR-related issues.
  5. Prepare market data for benchmarking exercises by drawing relevant data from reliable third-party remuneration surveys of relevant industries, and make appropriate recommendations and solutions to bridge gaps, if any.
  6. Handle the end-to-end annual appraisal exercise (i.e., launching of annual appraisal, compiling of appraisal ratings, approval of annual increment and variable bonus payout).
  7. Support the administration and processing of all salary-related payments, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and annual increments.
  8. Provide timely and accurate management reports.
  9. Negotiate yearly renewal of company insurance policies.
  10. Check payroll on a monthly basis.
  11. Negotiate with the union on the renewal of the Collective Agreement.
  12. Provide support for company events.
  13. Assist in HR projects and initiatives.
  14. Handle all internal and external audits.
  15. Support the Head of Department in managing all HR-related matters.
  16. Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree/graduate diploma in HR Management/Social Sciences.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in supervising a team of 2-3 staff.
  3. Conversant with the Ministry of Manpower rules and regulations.
  4. Good user knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  6. Good coordination and project management skills.
  7. Able to commence within short notice.
