Job Scope

• Prepare timely and accurate statutory reports with consolidation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and miscellaneous management reports plus variance analysis.

• Ensure accurate and timely intercompany reconciliation.

• Support the Head of Finance in developing annual budgets and forecasts.

• Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to statutory and tax regulations, accounting principles, corporate policies, guidelines and internal controls procedures.

• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits and implementing recommendations.

• Prepare/review GST/WHT returns.

• Review corporate tax schedules and computation, liaising with tax consultant.

• Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

• Prepare cash flow projections of different entities.

• Review cash flow projection of subsidiary.

• Review work performed by the Assistant Accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with internal controls & local regulations, as well as accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment in operations.

• Assist in setting up guidelines and identifying/implementing improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Ensure the smooth running of the accounting system, including price updates, year-end rollover and finalizing all SOPs.

• Prepare Government Statistics Survey.

Requirement

1. Degree in Accountancy or CPA/CA equivalent qualifications.

2. Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience.
