Assistant Finance Manager, Korea and Oceania (6 months contract)

Your Role

Kramer is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager, Korea and Oceania based in Singapore who is in charge of financial reporting and business analysis of the allocated countries.

  • Timely close of the monthly financial results, management reporting and analysis, local tax compliance, efficient accounts payable and receivable operations, credit control, system implementation projects, and ensure efficient audit of the company by the external auditors.
  • Ensuring control and compliance with Global policies.
  • Analyze business operations, contractual commitments, and follow up projects from an economical point of view within the sub-region.
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts with local teams and central management and follow up the evolution of actual results compared to budgeted targets.
  • Being responsible for collection processing for all customers as well as maintaining client's collection financial records and producing monthly update reports.
  • Work closely with other related business units (internal and regional) as part of a management team providing professional expertise and advice on financial-related matters.
  • Liaise and build positive working relationships with internal and external parties (Bankers, tax agents, lawyers, suppliers, government agencies, etc.).
  • Provide accurate and timely accounting information for both financial reporting purposes and management analysis.
  • Represent the organization as a key internal and external contact for customers, government agencies, and other relevant regulatory agencies and submit accurate and timely statistical returns and other surveys as required by law.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Banking / Commerce or equivalent; Professional qualifications are advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of working experience.
  • Solid background in managing end-to-end finance processes in Australia and possess a strong understanding of local financial regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in Audit.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the overall business processes.
