Assistant Finance Manager | Finance Transformation

Job Overview:
The Assistant Finance Manager - Finance Transformation will play a key role in driving financial process improvements, implementing transformative finance solutions, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This position requires a blend of financial acumen, project management skills, and a strong understanding of finance transformation principles. The successful candidate will help optimize financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Transformation Initiatives:

• Support the development and execution of finance transformation projects aimed at improving financial processes and systems.
• Analyze current financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new financial systems, tools, and technologies.

Project Management:

• Assist in managing finance transformation projects from inception through execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Develop project plans, track progress, and report on key milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate project execution.

Process Improvement:

• Evaluate existing financial processes and controls to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• Design and implement best practices for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Monitor the effectiveness of new processes and make adjustments as needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Provide insights and analysis on financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track the impact of transformation initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance and key metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with finance team members, business units, and senior management to understand their needs and ensure alignment with transformation objectives.
• Communicate project updates and results to stakeholders effectively.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure that finance transformation initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial processes and systems changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or finance transformation roles, with a proven track record of process improvement and project management.
• Strong understanding of finance transformation principles, including financial systems implementation, process automation, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling software, Microsoft Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions:

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Occasional overtime may be required for project deadlines or special initiatives.
