Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager

OUE Healthcare Limited (OUEH) is looking for a proactive and diligent candidate to join our Finance team. This role oversees the financial operations of our subsidiary group to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting

- Prepare/oversee and review monthly financial statements for the entities within the group.

- Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

• Month-End and Year-End Close

- Manage the monthly and year-end close processes for all entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Reconcile accounts and prepare adjusting entries as necessary.

- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with prevailing company policies, Singapore Companies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International).

• Tax Compliance

- Oversee quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.

- Coordinate annual corporate tax filings

- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary changes.

• Cash Flow Management

- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

- Monitor cash balances and manage intercompany fund transfers.

- Optimise working capital by managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Accounts Receivable

- Supervise the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely update of receipts in CMS and accounting system.

- Review accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

• Accounts Payable

- Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of liabilities and payments to vendors.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.

- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers to optimise cash flow.

• Budgeting and Forecasting

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

- Support strategic planning initiatives with financial analysis and projections.
