Assistant Finance Manager (Contract)

Job Summary:

• Industry: Tertiary education
• Employment type: 1-year contract
• Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 8.30 am to 6 pm; Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in routine financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting tasks.
• Support ad-hoc financial requests and data preparation for strategic decision-making.
• Approve FastPay collections link submission for students’ activities and provide support.
• Preparation for withholding tax submission.
• Preparation of Risk Control Matrix.
• Contribute to streamlining existing workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Review journals submission and budget transfers.
• Review WBS creations and submissions.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy with a minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience.
• Good knowledge of SAP financial systems (S4 HANA) and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI) would be an advantage.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of independence as well as the maturity and ability to work with staff at all levels.
