Manage full spectrum of accounting functions in accordance with statutory requirements, financial accounting regulations, company policies and procedures
Supervise a small team, provide guidance, resolving accounting discrepancies and review their work
Review processes and internal controls and taking the lead as project leader for any automation or improvement in processes
Compiling financial reports and supervising month/year end closing activities
Review WIP and Debtors ageing report
Ensure revenue, expenses and accruals are recorded appropriately
Assist with annual budgeting & forecast exercise
Handle corporate tax, GST filing and overseas VAT matters, government statistical reporting etc
Liaise and coordinate with external parties on different aspects including but not limited to audit, tax agents and corporate secretary matters
Undertake any other ad hoc task assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with min. 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with large reputable organizations. Big 4 professional firms experience would be an advantage.
Proficiency in use of computer. Especially excellent MS-Excel skills is a must, experience in MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint, Dynamics is an advantage.
Strong team-player with good interpersonal skills.

Good communication skills – both written and oral with ability to communicate to both finance and non-finance teams.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
