Job Description

Role and responsibilities:

  1. Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
  2. Responsible for complex balance sheets, P&L statements, and management reporting.
  3. Ensure accurate and updated reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  4. Handle bank reconciliations and cash management.
  5. Provide monthly detailed variance analysis for both balance sheet and profit and loss items, supporting management reporting.
  6. Perform monthly cashflow forecasts.
  7. Assist with financial and tax filing processes and tax audits.
  8. Communicate with various stakeholders for new initiatives and process improvements.
  9. Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
  2. 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  3. Prior external audit experience will be an added advantage.
  4. Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across different divisions and regions.
  5. Strong business acumen, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
