Job description

• Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting function of the company (including AR, AP, GL, Cost Accounting, GST, CbCR, Corporate tax and reporting etc)

• Manage all accounting requirements (including operational, statutory, management and financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting)

• Manage and supervise a team of accounting professionals and responsible for team development

• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, other professionals, governmental authorities, bankers, customs, customers and suppliers on matters relating to the company

• Responsible for all statutory reporting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance matters for the company and successfully comply with corporate policies and statutory regulations

• Support Department Managers/related parties with necessary financial reports and analysis of operation performance in terms of profitability and efficiency, and play a business partnering role

• Conduct monthly management reporting, variance analysis, and highlight reasons for variances with timely submission of reports to Corporate Office

• Lead quarterly stock take and accounts-related projects

• Review and implement improvements in internal control and processes to minimize risk exposure

• Ensure proper credit control of accounts receivable

• Responsible for fixed assets management, cash flow forecasting and control of company expenses, and capital expenditure management

• Review and formulate finance policies and procedures

• Maintain efficient and effective workflow systems and make recommendations to management when necessary

• Review current ERP system, assist in training and support on financial systems and processes, and lead system implementation if necessary

• Other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience

  • Leadership quality with good people and supervisory skills and ability to manage change within the team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player

  • Strong planning & analytical skills

  • Hands-on, self-motivated, meticulous, and committed personality; able to work well under pressure and adhere to tight reporting deadlines

  • Good understanding of Corporate Governance, Tax, and Statutory requirements in Singapore

  • Available to start work immediately or on short notice will be an added advantage
