Job Responsibilities and Duties
Accounting and tax reporting
Provide guidance and support to overseas finance team on monthly closing.
Timely and accurate submission of monthly financial & management accounts.
Liaise with tax consultants on accurate and on-time preparation and submission of tax returns to the relevant authorities.
Ensure that record keeping complies with legislative requirements.
Liaise with external auditors and professional advisors on related matters.
Financial controls
Ensure smooth and accurate finance cash flows
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Develop and implement financial SOP to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Implement internal controls and processes which can enhance the operational and financial/accounting efficiencies.
Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control.
Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
Analyse monthly actual performance compared to budget and reasons for variances.
Report regularly on key performance indicators.
Assist in the annual budgeting process.
Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Mircosoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
