Assistant Finance Controller (East, Established MNC)

Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. The incumbent will also be the focal for Finance SAP implementation and can expect to work closely with the business Finance team, offsite extended Finance support, cross-business functions and IT/Digital/SAP team to transform existing ERP to the new SAP landscape.

Responsibilities:

1. Shared Service Focal: Lead the effort with Business and remote Finance teams to deliver high level of service performance for the Invoice to Cash, Buy to Pay and Intercompany to ensure that the business Controllership, Cashflow and Operations needs are met timely and compliantly.
2. Closing: Support closing activities and escalate/resolve issues to the relevant support functions on a timely manner.
3. Cashflow Forecast: Lead cash flow forecasting and reporting process for key cash drivers (i.e. accounts payables and accounts receivables) and deliver on business cash flow metrics.
4. Controllership initiatives: Support to drive controllership synergy and lead process simplification and alignment initiatives.
5. SAP Project Implementation: Actively engage with the business Finance team, offsite extended Finance support, cross-business functions and IT/Digital/SAP team (project stakeholders) to enable the change management and adoption of SAP processes.

Specific Skills:

1. Proficient in SAP Finance modules
2. Good working knowledge and experience in business accounting and Finance
3. Knowledge and application of IFRS and US GAAP
4. Ability to partner with a diversified team to deliver business expectations
5. Experience in SAP project implementation
6. Collaborative team player who contributes and participates proactively on project discussion and problem solving.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of managing relationships within a complex matrix environment, with teams residing onsite locally and virtually
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills (English main language)
