Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Report directly to Mechanical Department Head in all matters.
2. Support Engineers and Senior Engineers in day-to-day operations.
3. Supervise and ensure safety of vessel maintenance and repair works.
4. Lead a team of Technicians to perform repair and maintenance onboard ships.
5. Carry out troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical/diesel defects.
6. Perform joint inspection and acceptance with the ship representative.
7. Hands-on work in rectification of defects and maintenance of mechanical components.
8. Ensure quality of work performed by self and technicians deployed.
9. Assist in logistic support, lifting of equipment and workshop equipment, etc.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Mechanical / Marine Engineering.
2. Able to use IMTE Tools such as Torque Wrench, Pressure gauges, Internal and External Micrometer.
3. Able to work under pressure.
4. Able to work in a team.
5. Able to perform hands-on work.
6. Able to work in shipyard environment – heat, grease, dust.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.
8. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered for this role.

Working Schedule: 5 days work week

Working Hours: 7.45am - 5pm
