Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance of marine electrical system/component in workshops and onboard vessels.
2. Supervise a team of Electricians in planned and corrective maintenance.
3. Perform corrective maintenance and planned maintenance.
4. Perform electrical wiring, cabling and modification of electrical circuits.
5. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as Multimeter, Insulation tester and Process calibrator.
6. Participate in the repair of electrical components in workshops and onboard ships.

Requirements:

1. Diploma / NTC / Higher NTC in Electrical Engineering and related field.
2. Preferably with at least 3 years working experience in electrical repairs and maintenance.
3. Knowledge on Vessel Maintenance Work Process.
4. Experience in testing/calibration of high/low voltage equipment or fault analysis.
5. Knowledge in both electrical/electronic systems.
6. Experience in DC systems will be advantageous.
7. Able to read electrical circuit drawings.
8. Preferably to have experience in DC/AC motors, Generators, Switchboards and Circuit breakers.
9. Able to perform troubleshooting and fault rectification during daily operations.
10. Positive attitude and having initiative to perform all works allocated to him.
11. Willing to work in outdoor conditions e.g. heat, oil, and dust.
12. Willing to work in Changi area.

Working Days: 5 days work week
Working Hours: 7.45am - 5pm
