Assistant Distiller - Red Dot Brew House Pte Ltd - Singapore

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Distiller to join our craft spirits team. You will work closely with the Head Distiller to produce high-quality gin, whiskey, and other artisanal spirits. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who values craftsmanship, precision, and cleanliness in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production of craft spirits including gin, whiskey, and other small-batch liquors.
• Operate and monitor distillation, fermentation, and storage equipment.
• Perform and document quality control lab tests and sampling.
• Execute and maintain Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) procedures to ensure sanitation and hygiene.
• Operate automated control panels to manage temperature, pressure, and timing during production processes.
• Accurately measure and handle raw ingredients based on specified formulations.
• Support product development and experimental batch testing.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in all work areas.
• Follow standard operating procedures and adhere strictly to safety protocols.

Requirements:

Education: Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science field.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in distilling, brewing, or a science-based production role is preferred.

Personality & Skills:

Highly meticulous and attentive to detail.

Able to follow instructions with precision.

Observant, safety-focused, and technically inclined.

Enjoys manual, hands-on work and equipment handling.

Takes pride in producing quality craft spirits.

Fastidious, clean, and well-organized in work and personal habits.

Familiarity with CIP systems and ability to operate automated control panels is highly preferred.
