Job description
What The Role Is

You will lead a team of high-performing policy analysts in the Healthcare Finance Group, that oversees subsidy and subvention policy for the Long-Term Care (LTC) sector, which is growing rapidly due to our ageing population.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What You Will Be Working On

You will lead a team of policy analysts to develop policies to ensure the sustainable financing and affordability of long-term care, to support Singapore’s ageing population. This includes designing government subsidies for Singapore residents requiring long term care and developing subvention policies to support the development of the aged care sector.

In doing so, you will work with various stakeholders (including other MOH Divisions, Government agencies, and long-term care providers), and experience a wide range of work. This includes the design, implementation and review of healthcare financing policies, data analysis, project management, and public communications and engagement with providers.

  • Working Effectively with Stakeholders – Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose.
  • 4-6 years of working experience, preferably in policy formulation and stakeholder management roles, and prior experience in healthcare.
  • Good quantitative skills, as well as writing and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and display initiative, under pressure in a fast-paced environment and welcomes challenges.
  • Meticulous and responsible, proficient in MS Office tools.
  • Experience in grant or funding administration and/or IT system development and proficiency in statistical software tools (e.g. STATA) will be an advantage.
