Job description:


Job Responsibilities

  1. Work closely and communicate on a regular basis with business units to ensure alignment on projects, and overall service experience.
  2. Deliver IT digital projects within budget, on schedule and adhering to internal processes & standards such as IT security standard and SDLC framework.
  3. Create, evaluate, and contract tenders of SGD $2M upwards.
  4. Identify opportunities to enhance digital ecommerce journey and customer journey through digital channels such as websites, mobile apps, mini programs etc.
  5. Be the point of contact for technology discussions concerning digital systems and their associated subsystems.
  6. Keep abreast of trends, industry disruptions and innovation in technologies to relate to and support business.
  7. Identify, manage, and resolve complex issues, preventing escalations, where possible.
  8. Manage, negotiate, and mitigate project risks effectively to ensure deliverables are on track.
  9. Collaborate with team members, software architects, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver projects in a timely manner.
  10. Mentor team and ensure team is equipped with relevant core skills to do their job.
  11. Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluation.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related disciplines.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in technology with strong project management skills.
  3. Minimum 5 years' experience in managing teams including project, operations, and vendors.
  4. Understand how hospitality system works together to give customers a seamless experience.
  5. Proven knowledge in creating tender documents, evaluating tenders, and contracting with deals upwards of SGD$ 2M.
  6. Experience facilitating business users to define problem statements, articulate desired business outcomes and drive business transformation or process re-engineering.
  7. Experience managing a diverse team including vendors to achieve high delivery and problem resolution target.
  8. Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Experience in running agile projects is preferred.
